The Norwalk Hearth Division stated they have been referred to as to a house on Forbell Drive simply after 5:30 p.m. for a reported fireplace. Crews realized {that a} wheelchair-bound aged resident was caught inside.
Responding firefighters noticed heavy smoke coming from the entrance door and fireplace popping out of home windows behind the home.
