Dozens of animals, together with a number of that had been lifeless, have been faraway from a house in Sterling, in accordance with officers.
Officers from the animal management program of the Northeastern Connecticut Council of Governments stated they seized 42 animals, together with eight lifeless animals, from a house on Margaret Henry Street.
The animals that had been eliminated included a pony, 14 canine, a goat, a potbellied pig, a bearded dragon, feral cats, kittens, a rooster, a rooster, guinea pigs and pet rats, in accordance with NECCOG.
They stated this was a part of an open investigation and nobody has been charged.
State police stated troopers responded to the house round 10:14 a.m. on March 5 to help Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Governments animal management with service of a search warrant they usually have an energetic investigation at the side of NECCOG.
On Thursday afternoon, an individual on the house stated they did not have a remark.
