Conn. Gov. Ned Lamont is trolling his neighbors to the south with a social media put up proposing renaming the Lengthy Island Sound to the “Connecticut Sound.”
Lamont posted on X, “While the maps are changing, here’s an idea…” and tagged New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Lamont’s feedback are seemingly in reference to plenty of mapping firms altering the title of the “Gulf of Mexico” to the “Gulf of America” in response to an government order from President Donald Trump ordering the federal government to rename the physique of water alongside america’ Gulf Coast.
Apple Maps and Google Maps each made the change this week of their mapping software program.
