The search is on for the proprietor of a small canine rescued over the weekend from the East River.
The NYPD shared particulars of the rescue on social media, hoping somebody may acknowledge the canine and are available ahead.
Apparently, the canine discovered its manner into the East River on Sunday morning and wanted an help from the police division’s Harbor Unit.

The NYPD posted a photograph of the pup, visibly moist and wrapped in a big blanket. The canine, they stated, was in some “ruff waters.”
The division has not been capable of find the canine’s proprietor. She has since been handed off to the care of Animal Care Facilities of NYC.
Police are asking anybody who acknowledges the pooch to provide a name to 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
