The New York Metropolis Police Division has confirmed a shake-up on the prime of the division following the Friday night time departure of its highest-ranking uniformed officer.
Chief of Division Jeffrey Maddrey resigned immediately and was changed by Chief of Patrol John Chell, Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed in a press release. Chell was named interim chief of division.
In Chell’s place, Tisch introduced that Chief of Transportation Philip Rivera will assume the chief of patrol submit.
