Metropolitan Transportation Authority officers are expressing their outrage after two MTA employees within the Bronx have been attacked by a passenger who hit them with a scooter, based on the NYPD.
The assault occurred round 1 a.m. Tuesday morning when the suspect hit one sufferer within the face when he tried to wake him up, police stated. The suspect then hit a second worker within the hand injuring him whereas he was making an attempt to intervene, based on police.
The alleged attacker ran southbound in the direction of the Baychester subway station and had not been apprehended.
Each workers have been taken to the hospital in secure situation.
