A 16-year-old was shot and killed whereas getting off a bus in Queens Wednesday afternoon, in response to police sources.
Gunfire rang out simply after 2 p.m. on Liberty Avenue in Jamaica, close to 169th Road, police stated. The teenager was getting off a bus when he received into some sort of altercation, and he was shot shortly after.
The capturing didn’t happen on the bus and it was not close to a faculty on the time, sources informed NBC New York. It was not instantly clear what sort of bus the teenager was getting off of, whether or not it was a metropolis or college bus.
Officers responding to the scene discovered the sufferer unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in vital situation, the place he died.
The teenager has not but been recognized.
No arrests had been made in connection to the capturing, and police stated there was no description of a potential suspect.
